Welcome to the Central Coast of California

You are about to embark on a tourist journey into one of the most beautiful and diverse regions in California. From Paso Robles to Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo to Cambria, you will love it.

Stop by some of our favorite places while you are out around the County.
  • San Luis Obispo: Take a look at the beautiful new Childrens Museum, go antique shopping on Monterey Street, then grab some chowder at Splash Cafe.
  • Paso shopping on Park Street is convenient and fun with lots of shops to choose from. The furniture selection at Gibson's, Tuscany, and Rendition is excellent.
  • Stop by D'Anbino Tasting Room for a bit more than just a glass of wine, get a glimpse of Hollywood too. And while you are there, stop at Twice is Nice, a great little consignment boutique, both at the train depot in Paso Robles.
  • A must see: visit the new Art Galleries in Atascadero, from black and white photographs and beatiful color prints, to paintings from well known local artists, plus the local flavor of the famous Lavender Farm.
  • Pismo Beach is just cool and laid back with some of the best restaurants on the coast: Chele's, Splahs, The Cracked Crab, Giuseppes, and LongBoards. And while you are there, take a ride on the beach at the new Segway store. It's a ball.
  • Just next door is Shell Beach with Zorros, a local favorite restaurant and Central Coast Kayak.
  • Take a ride up the coast from Morro Bay, through Cayucos and end up in Cambria. Linn's Fruit Bin and Restaurant is a Central Coast favorite and their customers come from far away to dine in their newly reopened facility. The Squibb House has one of the best collections of Handcrafted Furniture anywhere. Fermentations tasting room serves the best wines from the Central Coast, and the Cambria Poines Lodge is legendary for its family dining.
  • And of course, visit Hearst Castle.
  • Finally, check out golf. Golfing on the Central Coast doesn't get much better than Hunters Ranch in Paso Robles or La Purisima just down 101 in Lompoc.
We hope you tell your friends about the Central Coast and will come back often.

It's really a little slice of paradise waiting to be explored.

Leave comments, add your photos, and let everyone know what you think about the Central Coast.

Have fun!
